Carthage's Trevor James (Sr., Maywood, Ill./Chicago-Hope Academy) was named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division III Midwest Region "Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year."  James cleared a school-record 7-2 to finish second in the high jump at the Drake University Relays.  His leap matched the second-highest all-time mark by an NCAA Division III high jumper.  James subsequently won a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin title with a leap of 7-2 .
