Erika Schroll has been named a Carthage assistant track and field coach. Schroll replaces Phil Bastron, who resigned in August to take an assistant coaching position at NCAA Division I Kent State University.
The Carthage College women's track and field team has one qualifier for the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Patti Laufenberg (Jr., Waunakee, Wis.) qualified in the 400-meter dash (ranked 10th nationally at 56.43).
