Rebecca Lamp led the way for the Lady Reds, finishing 74th overall with a time of 23:02.8.

Samantha Stanley gave an outranding performance for the Lady Reds, placing 15th overall and first for Carthage with a time of 23:28.0.

For the third time in as many races in 2015, freshman Rebecca Lamp has led the Lady Reds cross country team as the top Carthage finisher.

"We are going in the right direction as a team," said head coach Stephanie Domin, "We had a total team effort today and multiple season best performances, it was a good day for the lady red runners!"

The Carthage College women's cross country team opened their 2015 season on Saturday, Sept. 12 with a fourth place finish at the "Ken Weidt Classic", hosted by Concordia University (Wis.).

Kevin comes to Carthage following three years at Hamlin University in St. Paul, Minn., where he assisted with all aspects of directing the men's and women's cross country and track and field programs
